Nawaz's guards thrash party worker in Lahore
The man also raises slogan of Sher, Sher, Sher in the arena
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The men deputed for the security of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday thrashed a worker of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) when he approached the staged and tried to shake hand with PML-N supremo.
The incident took place at Alhamra Arts Council where ex-PM Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz were present at the stage along with other party leaders to before addressing the Youm-e-Takbeer Convention when a man ran from the crowed, reached the stage and tried to shake hand with Nawaz Sharif.
The security guards held the PML-N worker and severely thrashed him before party leaders including Federal Minister for Railways Khawja Saad Rafique stopped the securty guards.
Later, the man hugged and kissed Nawaz Sharif and sat among the crowed attending the event.
The man also raised slogan of “Sher”, “Sher”, “Sher” in the arena.
